To go with the red and white dress I wore on the Fourth of July, I popped on a bright blue liquid eyeliner.

Rejected title: The Fourth of Blue-ly.
Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Curacao is a bold, cobalt, shimmery blue. I’ve owned this eyeliner in several other colors (bronze, purple, sparkly black), and they’re all great.
To ensure the best pigmentation, shake very well before use. Containing a firm felt-tip applicator, the eyeliner has a very wet texture that takes a while to dry. I try to keep my eyelids lowered for at least 1 minute so that the eyeliner doesn’t crease or come off where my eyelids fold. It dries to an almost plasticky, vinyl texture. When you remove it, it comes off in flakes.

Pros: Long-lasting (need to use a bi-phase makeup remover). Strong pigmentation.
Cons: Takes a long time to dry. Sometimes needs a second layer for opaque color. Liquid can gunk up along the applicator and cause the cap to crack over time (like after a year). Hard to paint sharp flicks in a cat eye due to the width of the felt tip. Can get on lashes and leave clumps; need to comb through lashes before applying mascara.
I looove the colour of this liner! Makes your eyes really pop too, love the contrasting colours xx
Thank you, Soph! Stila makes other really bright colors, too.
