My girlfriends brought me a precious haul from Japan/Taiwan which includes a few super awesome face masks like this one below:
The website claims that “Marine Collagen & Elastin is a powerful combination in anti-aging. It can strengthen the moisture and elaticity of skin, effectively smooth wrinkles and slow down the aging process of the skin. Deep sea water, MDI Complex and γ-PGA hydrate, firm and keep the skin looking youthful.”
The back seems to have the usual ingredients in face masks and hyaluronic acid which is a natural substance in the body (such as eyes and joints) that helps heal wounds and lubricate tissue. There’s nothing indicating that putting it on your face does anything, but many cosmetics products contain it.
Here’s the mask in action. It has a very cold calming feeling. It’s super wet and soaking with the serum and is a good size. I have eye masks underneath it also.
Overall it’s a pretty nice cooling mask. BUT it does leave a super sticky film like many other serum sheet masks. I don’t see any immediate effects but only upon regular use would one expect to see anything drastic.
Pros: soothing, thin sheet of paper but good coverage, liquid soaks up well on skin.
Cons: super hard to find, ingredients are nothing special, super sticky when you pull off the sheet
