Do tell if you end up hauling! I bought some items as gifts for friends.
I haven’t tried most of the items on sale. The only one that I would advise against buying is the Banila Co. It Radiant Brightening Cream, which claims to moisturize. I tried a sample once and it didn’t really moisturize. Rather, it feels and looks similar to the Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer #3, a clear soft gel that imparts that wet shiny glow that K-drama stars are known for. (The diff between the two is that the Banila Co. has microshimmers, which aren’t really noticeable on the skin.) So the Banila Co. cream might be OK if used for makeup but it’s not real skincare.
See it in action on “Get It Beauty” starting at 31 seconds:
I’ve ordered from Soko Glam before. As expected, the prices are marked up compared to buying online directly from Korea, but shipping is very fast because it ships from the U.S.
FYI, this promo is part of the rotation of one-day-only discounts offered by Lucky magazine, one of my go-to reads run by my favorite editor, Eva Chen. (She was formerly a beauty editor at Teen Vogue, so she posts and tweets a lot about beauty prods.) Totally worth signing up for the Lucky Breaks newsletter because the discounts are usually 40-50% off. Frequently apparel and jewelry but occasionally beauty products.
