Karma Karma Camellia: Laneige Water Drop Tint in Camellia Red Review + Swatch

I swear, this is my last Laneige Water Drop Tint review until new colors are released.  Today I bring you Camellia Red, a soft medium red with neutral to slightly cool undertones.  This is my sixth Water Drop Tint!  (Check out my full review of the formula here.)

Compared to Scarlet Red, Camellia Red is not nearly as warm, orangey, or bright.  Camellia Red is actually a lot softer and lighter than expected.

I was hoping for something glamorous and striking like the deep red lip that Cheon Song Yi wears at the boat wedding on “My Love From Another Star.”  However, the softness of Camellia Red makes it a lot more wearable.

It takes some effort to even out the color (you can see that the color is slightly patchy on my lips), but it has all of the core qualities that I love about the Water Drop Tints: soft shine, long lasting, non-drying, reapplies easily.  Totes recommend!
