The concepts behind the new self-tanning products by Vita Liberata are so seriously innovative, I can’t believe no one thought of them before. First, there’s the sleeping mask (update: disappointed review is here). Then there’s the mineral powder bronzer, which I’m reviewing here.
I’ve had disappointing experiences before with Fairydrops mascaras, but this one–Scandal Queen Waterproof Mascara–came highly recommended by my friend. When she gave me this as a gift, I was cautiously optimistic.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that the su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick was an actual miracle. The raves on the interwebz are nearly universal. This little stick inspires buying frenzies and, when it goes out of stock (as it did when it was temporarily discontinued last year), laments of regret.
Intrigued by the hype, I ordered a stick when it briefly came back into stock on Soko Glam in October. Since then, MRCS (as it’s known in Asian beauty circles) has made a full comeback and can be found for purchase online from various Korean sellers.

I eagerly cashed in my Sephora points for a deluxe sample when I saw the Tarte LipSurgence Skintuitive Lip Gloss. It’s one of those pH-reactive/customized pink products in the same vein as Dior Lip Glow, which you know I’m all about.
My secret hope was that this would be like the long-discontinued Dior Addict Crystal Gloss. Oh man, that was from 2010. It was meant to work much like how Dior Lip Glow does, except that it turned bright fuchsia on my lips (not at all subtle like Dior Lip Glow), which I loved because it was an instantly fun, happy look. Here’s a super seed to supersede your previous beauty cleanser: the face shop’s new seed line. I got a sample of the whitening and exfoliating chia seed cleanser and fell in love with it. So of course despite having a vanity full of scrubs I had to get this:
Now the “white seed” cleanser doesn’t specifically mention Chia seeds. But it doesn’t really matter because the graininess of the seeds are used for exfoliation and not for their moisturizing properties.
